Refund Policy

Last updated: March 28, 2026

Summary

All deposits are non-refundable. You are never charged for failed clips. If you delete your account, remaining balance is forfeited.

1. Deposits Are Non-Refundable

All funds deposited into your FastClip.dev account are non-refundable. Once a deposit is processed, the funds are credited to your account balance and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or converted back to cash.

This applies to all deposit methods and amounts, including the minimum $5.00 deposit and any subsequent deposits.

2. Failed Clips Are Always Free

You are never charged for failed clips. When you submit a clip request, the cost is reserved (deducted) from your balance upfront. If the job fails at any stage (download, processing, or upload), the reserved amount is automatically refunded to your account balance immediately.

A refund transaction is logged for your records. You do not need to contact support. This happens automatically.

3. Account Deletion

If you delete your account, any remaining balance is forfeited. This is consistent with our non-refundable deposit policy. Please use your balance before deleting your account.

4. Signup Credit

The $5.00 free signup credit is a promotional balance and is not eligible for withdrawal or refund. It can only be used toward clip processing on the platform.

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, we reserve the right to immediately suspend your account pending investigation. If the chargeback is upheld, your account may be permanently terminated.

If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us first at admin@cliprender.dev. We're happy to investigate before you involve your bank.

6. Exceptions

In rare cases, we may issue a discretionary refund or account credit at our sole discretion. Examples include:

  • Extended service outage that prevented you from using your balance
  • A verified billing error on our end
  • Duplicate charges caused by a system issue

To request an exception, email admin@cliprender.dev with your account email and a description of the issue.
